Welcome to ODBD's May Release!!

Hello everyone - and welcome to another fabulous ODBD release.  For those hopping along with us you know what I'm talking about!!

My first card features the new Trois Jolis Papillons and Tres Papillons butterfly stamps and dies, and the new Butterfly and Bugs stamps and dies.  I started with the wonderful double-display card base and beautiful Shabby Rose Collection Papers.  These papers have subtle butterflies so definitely inspired my design.

Here's a peek at the card wrapped in a little bow :)

Next I measured, cut and glued all the shabby rose papers to the card base, then went to work stamping and die-cutting all the butterflies.  I had fun working with these perfect little butterflies :). Next I went to work on the inside sentiment panel - here's a peak of the inside:

I stamped the Lords Prayer onto one of my favorite of the Shabby Rose Papers, carefully aligning the words around the beautiful roses, and die-cut it using ODBD's custom Layered Lacey Squares die. Here's a photo of the fully extended double display:

Last steps were stamping random butterflies directly onto the papers, adding the lighter die-cut butterflies on and around the Lords Prayer panel and adding the sequins.  As a final touch I added light pink and clear gel to the roses on the front and inside of the card - just to make them pop!!

That may show a little better in the next photo:

My next card features the same new stamps and dies, in a more clean and simple design.  First I stamped the Lords Prayer onto Vellum card stock.  Next I repeat/randomly stamped butterflies in grey ink and used that panel as a frame over the vellum.

Last steps were stamping, coloring and die-cutting the Vellum Butterflies.  Here's one more photo:

Below are all the ODBD items used in my projects today:
